Mounu accommodation consists of three superior private fales (fale is the tongan word for house - pronounced farlay) and one honeymoon suite. Each fale is situated on its own piece of private waters edge providing breath taking views of the surrounding islands and reefs.
 
The architecture of the fale is a modern version of the traditional Tongan fale combining coconut pole structure with a shingle roof. Large ceilings for maximum air flow.

Beachfront accommodation 
 
All our fales are completely private with only the sounds of the sea against the beach accommodationshore, the birds and at night you may hear the Whales breaching or pectoral slapping. All fales have Kingsize beds (2 fales can be converted to a twin room). All fales have toilet, hot shower (califont operated), 12 volt fans and private sun decks. Beach towels are provided and your room is cleaned down everyday.
 
The fales are linked to the restaurant/bar through beautiful coconut fringed bush walkways or you can just wander along the beach. Your never are more than a 5 minute walk from a refreshing cocktail or ice cold beer. Click on the red text to learn more about our private island resort in tonga.
